As a Project Coordinator, you will work in collaboration with the Building Science team. Your main responsibilities Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety policies and procedures during office and field activities; Under the direction and supervision of Project Managers and Engineers, conduct Building Condition Assessments (BCAs) of commercial, institutional, residential, and industrial buildings, including site inspections, collection of field data, identification of building deficiencies, documentation of observations, and preparation of technical reports; Review available background information such as drawings, previous reports, maintenance records, and capital plans to support building assessments; Collect and provide accureate site measurements and information, as required, including photographs, sketches, and field observations for use in assessments and reports; Organize and maintain accurate field notes, photo logs, inspection records, and project documentation to ensure completeness, version control, and compliance with internal quality procedures; Support the preparation of capital repair and replacement forecasts for building components based on observed conditions and available information; Prepare and contribute to Building Condition Assessment reports primarily using Microsoft Office, including deficiency descriptions, condition ratings, photographic documentation, and capital renewal recommendations under the supervision of Project Managers and Engineers; Complete detailed field investigations involving building envelope systems, roofing, façades, interiors and exterior site features, including measurements, photographs, sketches, and condition documentation; Assist Project Managers and Engineers with the delivery of projects involving building condition assessments, building envelope investigations, roofing systems, façade rehabilitation, and asset management studies; Participate in site visits, inspections, and field reviews, including coordinating access, arranging site logistics, and communicating with property representatives. Prepare and format technical reports, proposals, letters, meeting minutes, and project correspondence; Maintain accurate project files, document control procedures, and tracking of project deliverables and deadlines; Support internal tracking of deliverables and deadlines to help ensure project information flows smoothly between team members; Respond professionally to internal and external enquiries and communicate findings clearly through written reports and verbal discussions. What makes you unique Post-secondary education in building science, engineering, architecture, construction technology, architectural technology, or a related field; 2–5 years of experience in a consulting, engineering, architectural, or construction-related environment (asset); Exposure to or experience supporting building envelope, roofing, restoration, rehabilitation, or building science projects; Experience assisting with Building Condition Assessments (BCAs), facility assessments, or capital planning studies (asset); Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and/or the National Building Code of Canada (NBC); Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally communicate in English, both written and verbal. Bilingualism (English/French) (asset); Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly related to technical documentation, report formatting, and file management; Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Experience with Asset Management Software such as AssetPlanner and PSD CityWide (asset);. Ability to work collaboratively within a technical team and support multiple tasks and priorities in a consulting environment; Valid driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel to project sites across Ontario, including remote areas; Possession of or eligibility to obtain Security Clearance. The salary range for this position is $56,325 to $73,927 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role. Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit.
