Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Temporary Full Time

Overview Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $17.00 / hour and is located at 300 WESTVILLE RD NEW GLASGOW, NS B2H 2J5 This is a Temporary Full Time position with a 6 month contract. Must be available to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week within branch operating hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Schedule may vary based on business needs.* We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone. You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals. Responsibilities We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include: Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks. Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate. Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage Fuel and stage vehicle Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location Additional Responsibilities Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications Must have a valid Canadian Class 5 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. Must be able to lift 25 pounds to assist customers Must be available to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week within branch operating hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Schedule may vary based on business needs. Must be at least 18 years old

Responsible for washing, sanitizing, and preparing vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet high cleanliness and safety standards. Duties also include inspecting vehicle fluids, tires, and damage, as well as maintaining the general appearance of the branch location.

Must be at least 18 years old with a valid Canadian Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and capable of lifting 25 pounds.
