Position Description We currently have an exciting role for a Driver – Front Load (FL), Automated Side Load (ASL), and Roll Off (RO) for various routes around central Alberta, located out of Calahoo, AB area. Position Responsibilities Safely operate and drive a Front Load, Automated Side Load and Roll Off waste truck. Perform pickups and drop offs in a safe and efficient manner. Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights and brakes, etc. Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, ensuring timely arrivals and departures to project sites. Plan and organize efficient routes to optimize delivery for installation schedules. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to regulations. Help maintain equipment i.e., fix small damages on site, reporting larger damages as needed Plan your trip according to the weather conditions. Follow safety procedures for transporting materials. Additional duties may be required. Qualifications Class 3 license with air brake endorsement 3 - 5 years Commercial driving experience Clean drivers abstract, and clean criminal search. Experience with Commercial vehicle operation, Front Load, Automated Side Load and Roll Off trucks is an asset. Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Physically capable of manual labor, lifting, and working in outdoor conditions. Customer-focused with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing project demands and work effectively under pressure.
