Cyber Security Analyst

Role: Cybersecurity Analyst Location: Montreal (1 or 2 days on site per month) Contract Type: Contract/Freelance Contract length: 12-months initially (Likely to be extended) Language: English (French bonus) We are looking for a Skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our client's cybersecurity operations team in Montreal, Canada We’re particularly interested in candidates based in or around Montreal who have hands-on experience working with SIEM technologies, security monitoring, alert triage, and incident investigation & rsponse. Key responsibilities: Monitor, analyse and investigate security alerts through SIEM platforms Identify and assess potential security threats and incidents Perform alert triage and initial incident investigation Escalate and support the resolution of security incidents Contribute to the day-to-day activities of the Security Operations Centre If you’re based in/around Montreal, have experience with SIEM, EDR and security operations, and are looking to develop your cybersecurity career, we’d be keen to hear from you. Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts using SIEM platforms to identify potential threats. Support the resolution of security incidents and contribute to daily Security Operations Centre activities.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR technologies within a security operations environment. Proficiency in alert triage and incident response is required.
