As our construction division continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our team in Edmonton. What You'll Do As a key member of our field operations team, you will: Operate a skid steer for residential grading and loaming Fine grading for new home lots Operate Bobcat mini skid steer (463 / S70) (strong asset) Mark and check grades accurately Direct truck traffic and coordinate material placement Work safely and efficiently on active residential construction sites Installation and Maintenance of ESC measures Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, grading surfaces, and ensuring proper placement of erosion control materials. Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently. Site Clean-Up: Perform site clean-up tasks, including removing leftover materials and ensuring the site is left in a clean and safe condition after project completion. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow crew members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to specifications. Documentation: Ensure accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and compliance reports What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of skid steer operating experience in residential construction Proven experience with grading and loaming Ability to accurately mark grades and work from site plans Experience directing truck traffic and coordinating material placement Strong understanding of residential construction practices and site safety Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Assets Experience mentoring or training other operators Experience operating Bobcat 463 or S70 mini skid steers Snow removal equipment experience What We Offer Full-time, year-round employment Competitive compensation based on experience Consistent workload with a stable and growing company Comprehensive training and development opportunities Health benefits and wellness program Professional, safety-focused work environment Opportunities for advancement and long-term career growth Why Work With ECC?
