The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. As the Facilities Coordinator, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and grounds, while providing technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Health Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality Assurance (QA), and Engineering teams. Now, if you were to come on board as a Facilities Coordinator, we’d ask you to do the following for us: * Assist in developing and improving building systems maintenance policies, procedures, and reliability initiatives * Identify deferred maintenance needs and support facility renewal planning across sites * Safely operate, troubleshoot, and coordinate maintenance of HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, wastewater systems, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems * Manage vendor relationships, obtain quotes, and support purchase order processes * Maintain accurate documentation and audit preventive maintenance programs for continuous improvement * Support capital projects and provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams * Ensure full compliance with GMP, SOPs, health & safety regulations, and environmental standards * Participate in health, safety, and sustainability programs and report incidents or hazards * Assist in managing service contracts, analyzing facility performance data, and supporting audits Think you have what it takes to be our Facilities Coordinator? Here’s how we’ll know you are the best fit: * Post-secondary education in trades, facilities, or engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) * 3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience, ideally in manufacturing or food production * Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, compressors, chillers, and wastewater systems * Familiarity with Ontario codes (OBC, OFC), OH&S, CSA, and ESA standards * Relevant certifications (e.g., BES, SMT, SMC, 313A, or Millwright) considered an asset * Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Ability to read technical drawings and understand building systems * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word * Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills * Valid Class G driver’s license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
