In 2025, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR 7.296 billion, and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.​​​​​​​ Job Description About the Role We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead our laboratory operations. Reporting directly to the President, this role is responsible for overseeing all operational activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and accreditation standards, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong operational mindset, capable of optimizing performance, managing budgets, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Oversee all laboratory operations, including purchasing and facility management Plan, organize, and monitor activities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and accreditation requirements Strategy & Performance Develop and execute operational plans aligned with corporate strategy Establish measurable objectives to drive sustained performance and operational flexibility Monitor performance indicators and implement improvement initiatives Financial Management Develop, manage, and control departmental operating budgets Identify opportunities to improve productivity and profitability Continuous Improvement & Innovation Lead LEAN initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and quality Support organizational change initiatives across departments Systems & Technology Champion the effective use and ongoing development of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Ensure systems are leveraged to improve workflows, reporting, and performance Team Leadership & Culture Develop, coach, and mentor first-line managers and supervisors Foster a culture of transparency, respect, and teamwork Lead by example in alignment with the Eurofins Leadership Charter Quality, Compliance & Reporting Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices Participate in the development of annual service and growth plans Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior leadership Support documentation standardization and process compliance initiatives Client & Stakeholder Engagement Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (internal and external) Collaborate with senior leadership to implement corporate policies and procedures Qualifications Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a laboratory or regulated environment Strong leadership and team development skills Experience managing budgets and driving financial performance Knowledge of quality systems, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements Familiarity with LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement practices Experience with LIMS or similar systems is an asset Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Why Join Us?
