Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a part of the infrastructure team, of the Infrastructure & Transportation, based in New Liskeard, ON office and have the opportunity to work on various projects. What a day at EXP has in store for you * Be able to lead, mentor and direct less experienced mechanical staff on all of their responsibilities, particularly in the design of pumps and piping systems * Perform QA/QC review of specifications, reports, code application, RFI and submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables and drawings * QA/QC reviews all calculations by designers and provide guidance and mentoring * Determine the content of drawings and specs for less experienced staff in order to meet the scope of work * Review code-related items with Designers and ensure compliance * Edit and develop the basis of design narratives documenting the project scope * Write new specifications sections, and develop new details, as required for project needs * Write studies and reports for systems on projects * Apply and modify appropriate controls diagrams for the project * Modify sequences of operation for air and water side equipment and systems * Critically evaluate contractor pricing and cost estimates * Travel to project sites to review the progress of work and successfully solve problems within time & budget * Develop and monitor work plans What your experience looks like * Candidate should have an engineering Bachelor's degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of pump and piping design experience * Registered Professional Engineer Preferred * 3D Modeling experience will be considered an asset The salary range for this role is between $92K - $120K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
