Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a part of the infrastructure team, of the Infrastructure & Transportation, based in New Liskeard, ON office and have the opportunity to work on various projects. What a day at EXP has in store for you * Be able to lead, mentor and direct less experienced mechanical staff on all of their responsibilities, particularly in the design of pumps and piping systems * Perform QA/QC review of specifications, reports, code application, RFI and submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables and drawings * QA/QC reviews all calculations by designers and provide guidance and mentoring * Determine the content of drawings and specs for less experienced staff in order to meet the scope of work * Review code-related items with Designers and ensure compliance * Edit and develop the basis of design narratives documenting the project scope * Write new specifications sections, and develop new details, as required for project needs * Write studies and reports for systems on projects * Apply and modify appropriate controls diagrams for the project * Modify sequences of operation for air and water side equipment and systems * Critically evaluate contractor pricing and cost estimates * Travel to project sites to review the progress of work and successfully solve problems within time & budget * Develop and monitor work plans What your experience looks like * Candidate should have an engineering Bachelor's degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of pump and piping design experience * Registered Professional Engineer Preferred * 3D Modeling experience will be considered an asset The salary range for this role is between $92K - $120K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The Mechanical Engineer will lead and mentor staff on pump and piping system designs while performing QA/QC reviews of technical deliverables. They are also responsible for managing project work plans, conducting site visits, and ensuring compliance with engineering codes and standards.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess at least 5 years of experience in pump and piping design. A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration is preferred for this role.
