What You’ll Do As a Senior Design Specialist, you’ll lead the design and development of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) applications. You’ll work with modern frameworks, automation tools, and modular service design principles to build next-gen network services. You’ll play a key role in: Architecting full-stack automation frameworks Developing front-end and backend services for network management Implementing microservices and CI/CD pipelines Designing APIs and service models using YANG Driving innovation in SD-LAN/WAN and CPE lifecycle automation Must-Have Skills Full-stack development expertise with a focus on network automation Strong proficiency in Python, Ansible, and YANG modeling Ability to write clear, detailed technical documentation and API specifications Nice-to-Have Skills Extensive experience with Cisco NSO and YANG modeling Familiarity with microservices architecture Advanced knowledge of web development frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) What You Bring 10+ years of software development experience 5+ years in network automation and orchestration Deep expertise in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Django Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools Strong understanding of networking protocols and cloud-native development Proven ability to lead large-scale automation projects Education & Certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or full-stack development Network certifications (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA) are a plus
