Fircosoft Consultant / Expert

Fircosoft Expert Contract Term: 6 months, renewable Work Location: Remote Work in Canada Your primary responsibilities include: Carry out the analysis and the planning related to the Integration, implementation and upgrading of our Fircosoft (Lexis Nexis) software packages, specifically for Fircosoft Continuity Version 6, and Fircosoft utilities. Carry out the analysis and the planning related to the Integration, implementation and configuration of our Fircosoft (Lexis Nexis) software advanced modules such Automatic Hit qualifier, Pairing, Stripping, Manual screening, workflow accelerator and hit level qualification. Help with onboarding new clients, starting from working with the project team, analyzing requirements, help in architecture review of the Fircosoft solution, provide a setup plan, and deploy/configure the applications based on the client requirements. Install, upgrade and Level 3 troubleshoot the Fircosoft applications. Help with the test cases and recommendations. Write and maintain the documentation required for the administration and operations of servers and technical solutions. Organize and deliver training sessions to customers and employees. Actively participate in security tightening initiatives issued by the internal security team; Participate in tests as well as failovers in the event of Disaster recovery Stay up to date with technological developments through continuing education according to Fircosoft requirements. Provide support to offshore teams in Singapore and India through knowledge transfer, guidance on critical solution decisions, solution reviews, and client interactions. Participate in occasional after-hours and night calls to support offshore teams and address urgent requests across different time zones. Occasional travel might be required Required Professional and Technical Expertise: University degree in computer science or the other relevant field of study Minimum 5 years of experience with Fircosoft continuity, Fircosoft filter, Firco Multilist manager, Firco Multilaws Minimum 3 years of experience with Windows and Linux Knowledge of the banking sector and SWIFT (asset) Autonomy, leadership, problem solving, team spirit and the ability to work under pressure Be interested in learning about new products.

Responsible for the analysis, planning, implementation, and upgrading of Fircosoft software packages and advanced modules. This includes onboarding new clients, providing Level 3 troubleshooting, and supporting offshore teams in Singapore and India.

Requires a university degree in computer science and at least 5 years of experience with Fircosoft tools and 3 years with Windows and Linux. Knowledge of the banking sector and SWIFT is considered an asset.
