Oracle HCM Cloud – Absence Lead Contract Duration: 6 months, renewable Work Location: Remote Work within Canada Travel occasionally required for go-lives and key project activities Role Overview Seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Lead to lead Absence Management activities for a large-scale Oracle HCM Cloud initiative. The consultant will provide functional leadership across the Absence workstream and support the project through implementation and go-live. Key Responsibilities Lead the Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Management workstream. Gather and translate business requirements into Oracle HCM Absence solutions. Lead functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities. Partner with business and technical teams to resolve functional issues and support integrations/dependencies. Support testing, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities. Provide functional guidance and best practices throughout the implementation. Required Skills 6–10 years of Absence Management experience. Strong hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Management expertise. Experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud implementations through the project lifecycle. Strong functional configuration, requirements, testing, and troubleshooting capabilities. Ability to lead a workstream and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders. Must be based in Canada and able to travel for key project activities/go-lives.

Lead the Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Management workstream by translating business requirements into functional solutions. Oversee the design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities through to go-live and post-implementation support.

Requires 6-10 years of experience in Absence Management with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud. Candidates must be based in Canada and capable of traveling for key project milestones.
