About the Position The Edmonton EXPO Centre is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor (Banquets), who will play a vital role in executing the events hosted at the venue. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for providing positive guest interactions and serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. They are expected to be attentive to our guests' and team members' needs and make them feel welcome at all times in the Edmonton EXPO Centre. What You'll Do: * Motivating, supervising, training and mentoring team members * Consistently providing professional, friendly and engaging customer service * Providing daily observation feedback, direction, and assistance to team members * Maintaining stock during events * Maintaining cleanliness of workstations * Conducting cash drops at the end of events * Accurate completion of tasks in relation to tills, inventory control sheets, stock rotation, and inventory control * Enforcing departmental and corporate policies and procedures * Monitoring new staff and participating in training * Ensuring high standards of health and safety are always maintained * Continually building morale and engagement within the team What You'll Bring: * Valid ProServe certificate * Experience working in the food service industry * 2+ years in a supervisory position would be an asset * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills * Strong attention to detail/organizational skills * Ability to work within and supervise a team * Ability to delegate effectively while at the same time work alongside the staff * Strong work ethic and is hardworking and reliable * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and able to lift up to 50lbs How to Apply If this role piques your interest, please submit your cover letter and resume no later than September 2, 2026.
