Founding Engineer

We’re looking for an engineering generalist who loves to build and has excellent product intuition. You should have built something in the past and had users using it. This is a fully remote position with meaningful equity. We work flexible hours, but we expect a prolific work ethic. We are obsessed with working harder, longer, and smarter because that's what it takes to win. Backed by Travis Kalanick, Uber's founder, eXtreme Gammon (XG) is the Stockfish of backgammon. Every competitive backgammon player worldwide relies on us. Backgammon is having a moment, and we believe it's ready for a new era. We're on a mission to "re-found" XG's legendary engine and make backgammon the next generational online game. Your mission is to build the massive, highly scalable platform that surrounds XG's engine and create the next-generation social, competitive, and training experiences for players of all levels. This is a greenfield project, where you'll build the whole platform from scratch and have high agency.
