The perfect individual for this role could have a varying sales background including experience with commercial truck equipment sales, heavy duty truck sales or industrial equipment sales. This position will be located in or around the Regina area and will be based out of the Regina branch. Job Duties & Responsibilities Develop and manage sales opportunities throughout the Regina territory Maintain and expand relationships with existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities Promote and support Falcon Equipment’s product offerings Coordinate with internal departments including engineering, operations, parts, and service Manage complex customer requirements and long-term equipment projects Conduct customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and industry networking activities Maintain accurate territory activity and forecasting information Qualifications Minimum 3 – 5 years of related outside sales (technical) experience in the vocational truck and transport equipment, construction equipment, material handling equipment, industrial or capital equipment sales, heavy truck or related mechanical industries. Working independently to prospect, qualify, develop, and close business through a consultative sales process Proven ability to meet sales targets and develop long-term customer relationships Experience selling to public sector organizations is a definite asset, specifically municipalities and utilities Knowledge of the tendering process and RFQ completion Familiarity with, and an affinity for, heavy equipment in industrial and transportation settings Proficient and comfortable in the use of CRM or sales tracking systems Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle Post-secondary education supported by formal sales training would be a definite asset A willingness to travel frequently for customers, tradeshows, etc. About The Benefits Competitive wage rates and commission package Fuel and Car Allowances 100% prescription coverage and paramedical coverage 100% basic dental coverage Long-term disability (LTD) Paid sick days Paid vacation available in the first year of employment RRSP/DPSP plan with matching contribution by the company Premiums if you hold a current occupational first aid ticket Opportunities for training and development Non-unionized environment Falcon Equipment is an equal opportunity employer.
