The Grocery People (TGP) are hiring a Meat Wrapper for their TGP Wholesale Market located in High Prairie. What You’ll Do Assist in maintaining high standards of customer relations and service. Prepare, wrap, price and stock as well as price check merchandise as assigned Become familiar with all products handled and to be alert to new product information to be able to properly inform customers. Restock all types of meat according to the Department procedures; ensuring proper rotation, freshness and fullness at all times. Ensure all meat cases are properly filled, and any product, variety, package shortages are immediately brought to the attention of the Meat Manager of his designate. To collaborate with superior to settle customer complaints and adjustments as required. To ensure that traffic areas are always kept clean and orderly. Other duties as required. The Meat Wrapper is responsible for preparing, wrapping, pricing, and stocking meat products while maintaining high standards of customer service. They ensure proper product rotation and freshness in meat cases and maintain a clean work environment.

Candidates should have customer service experience and excellent communication skills, with retail experience considered an asset. A criminal record check may be required as this is a position of trust.
