Company: FedEx Trade Networks Canada Address: 5550 Explorer Drive Suite 600 L4W 0C3 Mississauga,Ontario Canada Scheduled Weekly Hours: 37.5 Worker Type: Employee Posting Start Date: 09-4-26 Posting Close Date: 10-01-2026 Job Family: FTN: Release & Classification Support Position Summary: Total Base Pay Range - $43,338.00 - $67,715.00 CAD Annual Monday - Friday: 8AM to 4PM TARIFF CLASSIFICATION • Obtains correct HS classification of goods for customs release from database, tariff book, internet or customer • Verifies tariff treatment at B-3 level to determine if proper tariff treatment is applied. If an import permit is required, uses the electronic internet program to obtain the necessary information DATA ENTRY • Ensures all entries are properly entered at Release on Minimum Documentation Duplicated (RMD) level for Other Government Departments (OGD) such as CFIA, Natural Resources & Ministry of Transport • Sets up entries on ACROSS and occasionally on paper which also includes seeking AIRS codes for CFIA, Y-50’s and Voluntary entries • Updates 1Source and FXG Hit list databases with clearance and client information SHIPMENT RELEASE • Verifies that shipments are Customs released & advises clients of shipment status when necessary • Enters shipment data into computer system, obtains credit release and ensures entry is transmitted to customs • Ensures that option 161 (rejects) are checked throughout the day on a regular basis REPORTING • Completes and submits CADEX report, CADEX rejects day 5, 4, 3 to customs and checks CADEX report for day 4 & 5 entries to ensure completion on time • Communicates with internal departments to obtain required permits • Performs any other duties as advised by Manager • High School Diploma and 2 years of College required • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Release Analyst with a Certified Customs Specialist Designation • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, office equipment (fax machine/ photocopiers / printers / scanners).
