The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the Head Coach with all aspects of the Men’s Wresting program at the University, with primary responsibility for teaching and training student-athletes in the rules, regulations, equipment needs, skills and techniques of wrestling. The position is a fully in-person, part-time appointment not to exceed 25 hours per week. Position Type Part-time, 12-months, Exempt Department: Athletics Bachelor’s degree required. Degree requirement may be waived with significant relative practical coaching experience. Qualifications Minimum of 1-year collegiate coaching experience in wrestling or related sport; strong written and verbal communications skills; proven ability to engage, motivate and direct a team of student athletes of diverse backgrounds and experience levels; detail-oriented; ability to instruct skills associated with wrestling; ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends; ability to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University. The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the Men's Wrestling program. Primary duties include teaching and training student-athletes in wrestling skills, techniques, rules, and regulations.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree (or significant practical experience) and at least one year of collegiate coaching experience in wrestling. Strong communication skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends are required.
