The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the Head Coach with all aspects of the Men’s Wresting program at the University, with primary responsibility for teaching and training student-athletes in the rules, regulations, equipment needs, skills and techniques of wrestling. The position is a fully in-person, part-time appointment not to exceed 25 hours per week. Position Type Part-time, 12-months, Exempt Department: Athletics Bachelor’s degree required. Degree requirement may be waived with significant relative practical coaching experience. Qualifications Minimum of 1-year collegiate coaching experience in wrestling or related sport; strong written and verbal communications skills; proven ability to engage, motivate and direct a team of student athletes of diverse backgrounds and experience levels; detail-oriented; ability to instruct skills associated with wrestling; ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends; ability to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University. Exigences
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree (or significant practical experience) and at least one year of collegiate coaching experience in wrestling. Strong communication skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends are required.
