What we are looking for: Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance & Systems, the Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting will be responsible for the fund accounting and reporting of an assigned portfolio of funds and accounts at Fiera Real Estate. The Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting will work closely with various teams in providing financial reporting and analysis to support Fiera Real Estate group. Your responsibilities: * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including financial statements and accompanying note disclosures, with meticulous attention to accuracy and compliance with accounting and industry standards including ASPE, IASB, IFRS, and RealPAC * Manage the month-end process including month-end working papers, journal entries and accruals, general ledger account reconciliations, variance analysis, and presentation of monthly financial results * Prepare quarterly client reporting packages, including customized financial statements, performance metrics, and commentary on key drivers of financial performance * Prepare comprehensive budgets, integrating key business assumptions into multi-year operating budgets, capital plans, cash flow and liquidity planning, and investor distribution forecasts * Partner with various teams to ensure appropriate accounting and disclosure of complex transactions * Facilitate interim and year-end audit and liaise with external audit firms * Develop and implement ongoing process improvements to achieve increased efficiency and maintain a high degree of customer (internal or external) and client service * Participate in identifying, designing, and implementing ongoing process improvement opportunities with software/ systems * Participate in ad hoc projects as required Must have requirements to be successful in this role: * CPA designation (or near completion) with at least 3 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, audit, or financial reporting; commercial real estate industry experience is preferred * Strong knowledge and experience with IFRS and ASPE standards * Experience with private equity (real estate preferred) fund accounting and administration * Experience with Yardi and fund accounting system(s) is considered an asset * Proficiency in Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) * Experience with accounting for transactions related to acquisitions, dispositions and financing assets * Ability to evolve in a fast-growing, results-oriented and tightly timed environment * Ability to interact and negotiate with experienced internal and external stakeholders * Fast learner, energetic, and proactive * Attention to detail, analytical and ability to self-manage multiple priorities * Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both written and verbal) Additional Information: * Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 4 days in-office per week. * The salary range for this position is $88,000 to $108,000. This role is also be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses and employee benefits. #LI-Hybrid For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
