Senior Associate, Investor Relations (Toronto) Salary | Competitive Location | Toronto HC160121 Overview A leading private equity firm focused exclusively on the global secondaries market is seeking a Senior Associate, Investor Relations to join its Toronto-based team. The firm has an established track record across LP-led, GP-led and continuation vehicle transactions and is backed by a sophisticated global institutional investor base. This is an opportunity to join a growing and highly regarded investor relations function, working closely with senior leadership across fundraising, investor communications and business development initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing existing investor relationships, supporting future fundraises and helping deliver a best-in-class investor experience. Responsibilities Support the execution of fundraising activities across the firm's secondaries strategies, working closely with senior investor relations and investment professionals Manage day-to-day communications with existing and prospective institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies and family offices Prepare and maintain investor marketing materials, fund presentations, due diligence questionnaires, data room content and fundraising documentation Coordinate investor due diligence processes, responding to information requests and facilitating interactions between investors and internal stakeholders Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports, portfolio updates, annual meetings and other investor communications Maintain CRM systems and investor activity tracking while supporting pipeline management and fundraising analytics Conduct market research on fundraising trends, investor appetite and developments across the private markets and secondaries landscape Requirements 3-6 years' experience within Investor Relations, Capital Raising, Private Equity, Private Markets Advisory, Placement Agent, Investment Banking or a related field Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record; finance, economics, business or a related discipline preferred Strong understanding of private markets and an interest in the secondaries market, including LP-led and GP-led transaction structures Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing high-quality investor-facing materials Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines within a fast-paced, client-focused environment Strong attention to detail, commercial judgement and relationship management skills Demonstrated ability to build credibility with institutional investors and senior internal stakeholders Motivated to develop a long-term career within investor relations and private markets fundraising
