iOS Developer (Mid–Senior) — Remote (Canada) Fintex Inc. About the Role Fintex is a fast-growing, remote-first fintech startup building wealth management products for some of Canada's largest financial institutions. We're looking for a mid-to-senior iOS developer to help build and scale our mobile platform. What You'll Do Build and maintain iOS applications using SwiftUI Own features end-to-end, integrating with APIs, payment systems, and third-party services Contribute to and uphold clean architecture (MVVM/Clean Architecture) Write production Swift code daily Debug across devices, iOS versions, and network conditions Champion best practices in performance, security, and accessibility Participate in code reviews and mentor teammates Requirements 3–6+ years of professional iOS development experience Strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI (UIKit experience a plus) Solid understanding of MVVM/Clean Architecture Experience integrating RESTful APIs, handling auth flows and data sync Comfort profiling and optimizing app performance Understanding of iOS security practices (Keychain, certificate pinning) Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting Nice to Have Cross-platform experience (Flutter or React Native) Backend/full-stack familiarity Fintech or regulated industry experience Startup experience Why Fintex 100% remote, work from anywhere in Canada Real ownership over a platform used by major financial institutions Fast-paced, low-bureaucracy environment Clear growth path to senior/lead roles Work with modern tech: AI, biometrics, real-time payments Ready to build the future of mobile finance?
