Journeyperson Carpenter Firma Concrete is a growing division of Firma Contracting, delivering high level concrete and civil scopes across Edmonton and surrounding areas. Position Overview We are looking for experienced Journeyman Carpenters with strong formwork and concrete experience to join our team. What We Offer • Wage: $45 per hour • Consistent, long term work • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company • Work on major infrastructure and commercial projects • Strong team environment with experienced leadership Responsibilities • Layout, build, and strip concrete formwork • Read and interpret drawings and specifications • Assist with concrete placements and finishing as needed • Work safely and efficiently with the crew • Maintain tools and ensure quality workmanship Requirements • Journeyman Carpenter certification • Experience in concrete formwork and civil work • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Strong work ethic and reliability • Valid driver’s license is an asset

The role involves laying out, building, and stripping concrete formwork for major infrastructure and commercial projects. Responsibilities also include interpreting technical drawings and assisting with concrete placement and finishing.

Candidates must hold a Journeyman Carpenter certification and have proven experience in concrete formwork and civil work. A strong work ethic, reliability, and a valid driver's license are also required or preferred.
