We are hiring a Resolution Specialist--Bilingual, Collections! Reporting To Supervisor, Collections Full-Time/Part- Time Salary Range: 12-month contract $43,000 - $53,000 Posting Date August 31, 2026 Closing Date September 21, 2026 Hours Of Work 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Grade Office Location: 6.5 Toronto, ON / Montreal, QC Great location! Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employment The Opportunity Reporting to the Supervisor, the Bilingual Resolution Specialist is responsible for ensuring all arrears are dealt with on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. How You Will Contribute Investigation of delinquent accounts in assigned portfolio Collection/administration of portfolio Minimize exposure to monetary losses or damage to investors and corporate image Assist clients in budgeting and planning to correct existing and avoid future delinquency Assessment and collection of fees Review bankruptcy and consumer proposals and filing proof of claim when required Collection of common expenses, strata liens, tax and utility arrears Set up of arrears settlement payments Process new PAC information Provide credit ratings and mortgage verifications Collection of deficiency balances on discharged mortgages Adhere to policies /procedures to ensure AML requirements are met, when applicable. The Experience You Need Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Team player who also works well independently Able to meet deadlines Competency in MS Office; capacity to learn new technologies/systems Shift work will be required Bilingualism (French, English) required – interactions with English-speaking customers or partners Working Environment And Physical Demands Analysis Office environment Periods of high volume with tight timelines Long periods of stationary position/sitting Prolonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse) Long periods of time in viewing a computer screen Multi-tasking may include speaking to customers on a telephone call while looking up information on a computer program.
