Overview Languages English Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience 1 year to less than 2 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks Plan and control budget and expenditures Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public Establish and implement policies and procedures Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses Manage training and development strategies Develop and implement health and safety plans Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Oversee the preparation of reports Respond to employee questions and complaints Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge MS Outlook MS Windows MS Excel MS PowerPoint MS Word Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Tight deadlines Attention to detail Ability to distinguish between colours Large workload Personal suitability Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Team player
