Automotive Service Apprentice

The Automotive Service Apprentice be supporting in all aspects of the Service Operations. He will be performing vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned as well as examine vehicles to determine what work is required. The Automotive Service Apprentice will also support technicians in other tasks, as required. The hourly rate for this position starts at $21.00, with final compensation determined based on relevant experience and qualifications. Core Competencies Service Orientation Communication Results Orientation Team Work Time Management Adaptability/Flexibility Decision Making and Judgement Problem Solving Job Duties Understand all aspects of the Service Operation Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required Assist Technicians, as required Maintain High level of Customer Service and Satisfaction Assist with Technical issues as needed Maintain a safe and productive working environment Perform Tire Rotations, mount and balance and repair of tires. Drain and fill, flush fluids using specified fluid grades upon request. Clean or replace batteries upon request. Replace air, cabin air and fuel filters upon request. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Maintain a clean and safe upper and lower bay area before, during and after vehicle servicing. Other related tasks Requirements Must be registered as a 3rd or 4th Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice. Ability to communicate technical information in a simple manner Ability to pay attention to detail Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations Valid G2 or G License with a clean driving record Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills Willing to learn more as a part of further personal development #driveyourcareerwithus

The apprentice will support service operations by performing vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to determine required work. They are also responsible for assisting technicians, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Candidates must be registered as a 3rd or 4th Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice with a valid G2 or G License and a clean driving record. Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential.
