Job Description Reporting directly to the Area Manager, you will utilize your 10+ years of experience delivering pump station and related mechanical scopes to lead the successful execution of each project. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with portfolio goals, timelines, and budget while receiving strategic support from the Area Manager. Interface with client representatives throughout development, execution, and commissioning to ensure clear communication and alignment. Execute contracts according to the client’s requirements and specifications, ensuring the scope of work, terms, and conditions are understood and communicated to management. Oversee a portfolio of new-build and expansion pump stations, ensuring execution plans are developed and implemented to meet project goals and objectives at each station. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes—pumps, piping, valves, controls, and station tie-ins—through construction, testing, and turnover. Assist in developing the original budget, managing changes, determining progress, and generating accurate forecasts across the portfolio. Provide direction to the Project Controls group, formally evaluating performance, offering feedback, and resolving any performance-related issues. Qualifications Education in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or Trades Background. Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas, heavy industry, mining, with direct experience delivering pump stations for a construction contractor. Demonstrated experience building or expanding pipeline pump stations—including pumps, piping, valves, and station controls—from construction through commissioning. Minimum 4 years’ supervisory/site management experience. Ability to read and interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs), as well as technical, electrical, and instrumentation drawings. Proficient in utilizing systems for estimating, scheduling, and project management. Experience analyzing project and operational financial data, with the ability to implement performance action plans to improve results. Additional Information This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
