A Day In The Life Work with the Site Supervisor & Project Management team in scheduling, coordinating and tracking deliveries Attend hand off & autopsy meetings Work with PM and Estimator to prepare a comprehensive material list for the project Assist the PM in preparing takeoffs and estimates for change orders Issue submittal packages, samples, bonds and insurances Fill out warranties and send close out packages Assist Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of the project (ie. forecasting, planning, analysis, etc) Responsible for all product securement and invoice processing for the Production Department Contacting and negotiating product prices with suppliers, while also staying current on all new products by participating in educational opportunities Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, while also maintaining a data base of any past, present, or prospective suppliers Working with Projects Managers and Superintendents to order materials to site as needed Invoice Management, accurate and timely processing of invoices Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents appropriately What We Are Seeking Minimum 2 years’ experience in a purchasing, administrative or project coordinator role, preferably in the construction and/or manufacturing industry Strong analytical thinking, planning and negotiation skills are required; attention detail Excellent organizational and communication skills Advanced knowledge of MS office suit Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player What We Offer RRSP matching Company events Dental care Extended health care Vision care On-site parking Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
