Carpenter / Skilled Labourer

(FMI) is looking for a full-time Skilled Labourer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in hard work, shows initiative on site, and is eager to be part of a construction team delivering high-quality projects. Responsibilities • Perform general labour duties to support site operations, including material handling, site cleanup, and assisting trades • Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment as required • Assist carpenters, foremen, and superintendents with tasks as directed • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Follow all company safety policies and procedures • Support site setup and teardown, including temporary protections and basic installations • Identify and communicate any site issues or safety concerns • Operate basic hand and power tools as needed Job Skills & Qualifications • Previous construction or labour experience is an asset • Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks • Basic familiarity with hand and power tools is an asset (training can be provided) • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team • Reliable, punctual, and motivated • Good attitude and willingness to learn • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment • Valid driver’s license is an asset Please submit your resume here or to [email protected].
