HD/ BEV Electrician – 2026-090 Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) We are hiring multiple HD/ BEV Electrician to join our expanding McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site, in Northern Saskatchewan. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation. This is a Camp-based position with travel support. Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. With commercial production expected in mid-2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy. As part of the Electrical/Mechanical Team, this position is responsible for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). Requirements include installation, maintaining, and troubleshooting the unique high-voltage electrical systems of the BEV equipment and related charging infrastructure. Key duties include reading blueprints, testing and maintaining components such as batteries and control modules, repairing wiring, ensuring compliance with safety codes, and working with diagnostic tools for troubleshooting. This is a specialized role that goes beyond traditional building wiring, focusing on the electronics. Job Responsibilities: * Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and implement timely repairs. * Ensure the reliability and efficiency of batteries, electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. * Optimize maintenance processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives. * Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. * Ensure that all electrical maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with industry regulations. * Diagnose electrical issues and equipment malfunctions, developing effective solutions to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. * Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements to improve electrical/maintenance processes. * Maintain accurate records of electrical/maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance schedules. Job Qualifications and Skills: * Industrial Electrician Red Seal certification. * 2+ yrs. experience as an Industrial Electrician in a mining or heavy industry setting. * In-depth knowledge of mining equipment, electrical/maintenance practices, and safety regulations. * Understanding of environmental regulations and their implications for electrical/maintenance activities at mine sites. Compensation and Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package includes: * Competitive Hourly Rate: : $61.68 - $66.82/hr.
