Heavy Duty Mechanic – 2026-008 Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) We are hiring multiple Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our expanding McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site, in Northern Saskatchewan. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working either a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation. As part of the Mechanical Team, the Heavy Duty Mechanic is responsible for executing mechanical maintenance activities and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems and equipment and maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Watch this short video for some insight into what it is like to work as a Heavy Duty Mechanic at Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran: https://lnkd.in/geAJ8xx3 [https://lnkd.in/geAJ8xx3] Job Responsibilities: * Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and implement timely repairs. * Ensure the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. * Optimize maintenance processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives. * Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. * Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with industry regulations. * Diagnose mechanical issues and equipment malfunctions, developing effective solutions to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. * Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements to improve mechanical maintenance processes. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance schedules. Job Qualifications and Skills: * Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman or Red Seal certification. * Automotive Mechanic Journeyman may be considered. * 2+ yrs experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in a mining or heavy industry setting preferred. * In-depth knowledge of mining equipment, maintenance practices, and safety regulations. * Understanding of environmental regulations and their implications for maintenance activities at mine sites. Compensation and Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package includes: * Competitive Hourly Rate: $61.68 - $66.82/hr. This is the base salary including monthly bonus based on targets. * 100% Employer paid Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Long-term disability Insurance. * RRSP with company match. * Camp-based position with travel support.
