Foremost has an immediate opening for a full-time Estimator/Bid Proposals position reporting to our Estimating Manager located in Lloydminster, Alberta. In this position, you will learn about what we build and how we build them. Working closely with our Outside Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Fabrication teams, you will be designing and proposing oil and gas processing equipment. The packages are presented as quotations that must be both economically and technically viable. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure proposals are accurately developed and submitted on time, every time * Interpret requirements of bids and projects to design systems to meet requirements * Identify critical issues that may impact delivery and cost sensitive areas * Collaborating with engineering, drafting, manufacturing, projects, sales, and purchasing during bid preparation and project execution * Develop techniques to streamline and standardize the design process; solicit input from others; train others when required; provide on-going information and support * Review and scope development for new RFQ’s * Specify design and commercial exceptions/clarifications for proposals * Establish buyout requirements, and obtain quotations from sub vendors * Generate Instrument & Valve Lists and work with Drafting to create proposal level P&ID’s * Determine material and fabrication requirements based on scope, layout, specification review and schedule * Develop cost summaries and exception lists Qualifications : * A degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology * Minimum 5 years experience in a project management or estimating role. * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills * Experience in project management or estimating role is an asset * Field experience is a definite asset * Willingness to learn. * Detail oriented * Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills * Previous leadership skills/role What we Offer * Competitive Compensation. * In-depth Safety Program.
