Foremost has an immediate opening for a full-time Hydraulic Specialist, reporting into our Mechanical Assembly Foreman, located at our Facility in Calgary, Alberta Responsibilities * Works without direction to most complicated hydraulic diagrams, schematics etc., and/or verbal instructions * Installs, assembles, or repairs any hydraulic motors, drives or pumps. Assists in hosing and testing of these components, in any type of vehicle or rig. * Assembles components to quality required and acceptable performance. * Troubleshoots hydraulic issues on new or used equipment and assists Field Service, given reasonable notice, to carry out field repairs. Offers hydraulic expertise to Service Reps. * Assists less experienced personnel with work methods, work habits and performance. * Performs other tasks related to his/her classification. Qualifications * Must have certification from a recognized training facility or has demonstrated the ability to meet the above requirements to the satisfaction of Management. * Preference to Journeyman Industrial Millwright or Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician * Strong track record building, servicing, troubleshooting complex mobile hydraulic equipment. * Must have a complete line of tools necessary for all phases of mechanical and hydraulic assembly. * Experience an asset. * Safety Training an asset but will train as required.
