Painter (Industrial)

Foremost Industries has an immediate opening for full-time Painters located at our manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta. Responsibilities * Work with minimal direction to all drawings, sketches, layout boards, etc., and/or verbal instructions * Prepare and apply prime or finished coats of paint (protective and decorative) to all parts of finished products and/or equipment * Operate brush or spray equipment as required and is responsible for proper storage and handling of all paints and painting supplies * Responsible for the care and maintenance of all Company owned finishing and painting equipment and facilities * Perform other tasks related to his/her classification * Other duties as required Qualifications * Light/Heavy industrial painting and/or coating application experience preferred * Hand tools required * Safety Training an asset but will train as required Additional Information * This posting is for Day Shift * Typical Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 10-Hour Shifts What we Offer * Competitive Compensation. * In-depth Safety Program. The painter is responsible for preparing and applying protective or decorative coatings to manufactured parts and equipment. They must also maintain painting equipment and facilities while following technical drawings or verbal instructions.

Candidates should have experience in light or heavy industrial painting and coating applications. Proficiency with hand tools and a commitment to safety training are required for this role.
