Foremost is seeking full-time Sandblasters at our facility located in Hythe, Alberta. The role will be reporting into our Production Manger on site at our Hythe facility. You will be responsible for internal and external blasting with abrasive media on storage tanks, vessels, skids and piping. Key Responsibilities * Operate and service all equipment associated with sandblasting. * Use sandblasting equipment with specified media. * Prepare components to be protected from abrasives. * Conform to quality control standards and construction specifications, drawings, sketches, layout boards etc. and/or verbal instructions. * Read, understand, and follow working instructions/directions, policies, and procedures. * Report status of jobs in progress and upcoming production plans. * Maintain frequent contact with QC and Production to ensure all blasting requirements are met. * Follow the company safe work procedures and legislated safety requirements. * Keep a clean work environment. * Comply with all WHMIS and environmental regulations regarding the storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials. * Assist painters and insulators when needed and any other job-related tasks. Qualifications * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent * Sandblasting experience preferred but will train the right candidate * Ability to give and take clear directions, both verbally and written * Safety training an asset but willing to train as required. * Highly flexible, with solid people skills and able to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced environment. * Use of hand tools What we Offer * Competitive Compensation. * In-depth Safety Program.
