Foremost is seeking a Warehouse Lead to lead safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse and yard operations at our Hythe facility reporting to our General Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, staff coordination, and continuous improvement in support of production and customer requirements. Responsibilities: * Lead a day-to-day warehouse and yard operations while promoting a strong safety culture and compliance with safe work practices. * Manage a small team, including training, supervision, discipline, performance reviews and daily tasks as required. * Coordinate shipping, receiving, material staging, and inventory activities to support production and customer demand. * Supervise warehouse and yard personnel, assign daily priorities, and provide coaching and guidance. * Maintain accurate inventory records and complete system transactions for receipts, issues, adjustments, returns, and transfers. * Oversee cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and support inventory accuracy initiatives. * Ensure warehouse, yard, and equipment areas is organized, clean, and operating effectively. * Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Production, and Purchasing to resolve issues and improve performance. * Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, service, and operating efficiency. Qualifications: * Proven leadership experience such as supervisor, lead hand, or equivalent in a warehouse, materials, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing environment. * Strong understanding of inventory control, material flow, and warehouse operations. * Experience using Visual or other ERP systems, database, or inventory management systems. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage competing priorities. * Valid Class 5 driver’s license. * Forklift certification, safety training, or manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
