Asset Manager Vancouver, BC | Up to $140,000 + Bonus + Benefits A growing real estate owner/operator is seeking an Asset Manager to join its Vancouver-based team and help oversee a portfolio of retail assets across Western Canada. This opportunity is ideal for a real estate professional with a background in Asset Management, Property Management, or Retail Leasing who is looking to broaden their exposure and take on greater responsibility within a growing organization. The role offers a unique blend of asset management, leasing strategy, operations oversight, and capital project involvement. The Role Reporting to the VP, Asset Management, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, property management teams, brokers, and tenants to maximize portfolio performance and execute asset-level business plans. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic thinking with day-to-day execution and offers meaningful exposure to senior leadership. You Will Be Responsible For Managing the performance of a portfolio of retail assets Driving asset-level business plans and value creation initiatives Supporting leasing strategy, tenant retention efforts, and lease negotiations Working closely with third-party brokers and property management teams Participating in annual budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes Monitoring asset performance and identifying operational improvement opportunities Assisting with redevelopment initiatives, capital projects, and tenant relocations Building strong relationships with tenants, consultants, brokers, and internal stakeholders Conducting periodic site visits throughout BC and Alberta Ideal Candidate Experience in Asset Management, Property Management, Leasing, or a related commercial real estate function Strong understanding of retail real estate and shopping centre operations Exposure to lease negotiations, tenant relations, and asset performance management Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning Highly organized with strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities Willingness to travel periodically throughout Western Canada Post-secondary education in business, real estate, finance, or a related field is preferred Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $140,000 Annual bonus Comprehensive health and dental benefits RRSP program Three weeks of vacation Long-term growth and progression opportunities within a growing Asset Management platform Location Downtown Vancouver Primarily in-office environment How to Apply Please submit your resume for consideration.
