We are currently partnered with a leading organization to identify a Facility Manager to join their team in Winnipeg. This is a great opportunity for a Facilities professional who is looking to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, work with a range of stakeholders and continue developing their career within a strong facilities management environment. The Facility Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio across multiple locations and facility types. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and working closely with clients, vendors, contractors and internal teams. The position is based in Winnipeg, with responsibility for facilities across the region and travel to various locations as required. The portfolio may include: • Corporate offices • Telecom facilities • Data centres • Warehouses • Retail locations Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day facility operations across an assigned portfolio • Coordinate maintenance, repairs and facility-related services • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders • Identify and address operational issues in a timely manner • Investigate facility-related problems and develop practical solutions • Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors • Support preventative maintenance programs and ongoing facility requirements • Monitor service delivery, costs and overall facility performance • Respond to client requests and ensure issues are followed through to resolution • Conduct site visits and travel to various locations as required • Support facility projects and other operational initiatives • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure facilities are operating safely and effectively What We're Looking For: We are open to Facility Managers at different stages of their careers, ideally within a Level 1–3 environment. More importantly, we're looking for the right person. The ideal candidate will be: • Driven and motivated to develop • Curious and highly teachable • A strong problem solver • An out-of-the-box thinker • Personable and comfortable working with different stakeholders • Proactive and willing to take ownership • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team • Someone who looks at a problem and figures out how to solve it rather than simply escalating it • Previous experience in facilities management, building operations, property operations or a related environment is preferred. Experience across corporate, telecom, data centre, warehouse or retail environments would be an asset.
