CNC Operator

This role is responsible for overseeing daily CNC operations within a fast-paced, high-volume production line environment where meeting output targets, maintaining quality standards, and minimizing downtime are critical to operational success. Responsibilities Operational Leadership * Lead daily CNC production activities, ensuring workflow efficiency and adherence to production schedules. * Drive performance to meet output targets, quality standards, and departmental KPIs. * Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and production disruptions. * Monitor production timelines and coordinate with internal teams to maintain continuous workflow. * Support and implement process improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste. Safety & Compliance * Reinforce adherence to all health and safety policies and PPE requirements. * Promote safe machine operation and proper material handling practices. * Identify and address workplace hazards or operational risks proactively. * Support a strong safety culture across the production floor. Qualifications * Minimum 2+ years of hands-on CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment (cabinetry, door, panel, or similar production setting preferred). * Experience operating CNC equipment in a fast-paced, high-volume production line environment. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience with CNC systems. * Advanced measuring skills in imperial and metric systems. * Strong mathematical aptitude (unit conversions, ratios, percentages). * Proficient with CNC software, production tracking systems, and Microsoft Office. * Excellent communication and decision-making skills. * Ability to lift up to 60 lbs as required.
