Class 1 Driver

Position: Class 1 Driver Type: Full Time: 40+ hours per week We are seeking experienced Class Drivers with deck experience to do P&D work out of our Stony Plain office. Key Accountabilities: Operate tractor-trailer (flat deck, primarily) to transport goods and materials, load and unload, load securement, electronic logs, Qualifications And Requirements Class 1 Driver’s License required with clean abstract. Must be familiar with manual transmission Must have Deck experience Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Ability to read/react to road conditions Manual dexterity Class 1 driver’s license Air brake endorsement Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance Demonstrated organizational skills: strong oral and written communication abilities, task prioritization, use of timelines and time management techniques Professional/mature demeanour under stressful situations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic Ability to read/react to road conditions Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed Working Conditions Will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions Overtime as required Notes: Only those candidates who are selected for the interview will be contacted.

Operate a tractor-trailer, primarily flat deck, to transport goods and materials. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, securing loads, and maintaining electronic logs.

Must possess a Class 1 Driver's License with a clean abstract and air brake endorsement. Experience with manual transmissions and flat deck operations is required.
