Fortin's Home Hardware is a local family-owned business that has been part of the community since 1946. Fortin's currently has stores in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, and Hope. Our core principles reflect honesty, understanding, safety, recognizing our mistakes and turning them into lessons, and cherishing our long-term relationships with our valued customers throughout the Fraser Valley. We are hiring for a part-time Sales Associate position at our two Fortin's Home Hardware locations in Chilliwack. What to Expect: * As a Sales Associate, you'll get to work in a fun, fast-paced environment * Work closely with your teammates to ensure the store is running at peak operational performance * Be passionate about customer service * Let your creativity shine with opportunities to create displays and visual merchandising * Utilize great interpersonal skills * Have a strong desire to advance knowledge and skills in hardware or related fields * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Must be able and willing to work at either Fortin's Home Hardware locations, 45750 Airport Rd and 5674 Vedder Rd in Chilliwack. Skills and Experience: * A positive attitude and great interpersonal skills * Experience in retail or sales is an advantage * Experience in plumbing, electrical, and painting is an asset * Have a desire to advance knowledge and skills in the automotive field * Experience working in a team environment * Good computer and typing skills Being a part of the Fortin's Team, you will have access to: * Employee Pricing * RRSP Matching Program * $200 Employee Wellness Program * Training Programs for Professional and Personal Development * Be a part of a Growing and Successful Industry Leader Part-Time Schedule: 12-32 hours/week Must be available weekends, holidays, and some weekdays.
