FortisAlberta is looking for a strategic and analytical leader to join our Customer Operations team as Supervisor, AMI System Compliance & Logistics! This role is responsible for leading a team that supports quality assurance, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and supply chain logistics for FortisAlberta's Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader who enjoys working with large volumes of data, driving process improvements, managing compliance programs, and ensuring critical infrastructure and inventory are available to support one of Alberta's largest utility programs. Job Description: Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for AMI compliance, quality assurance, and logistics activities. Establish priorities, assign work, and monitor performance to ensure service level commitments are achieved. Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and operational improvements. Oversee inventory forecasting, procurement, supply planning, and inventory controls for AMI meters and network equipment. Manage AMI-related supply chain activities across FortisAlberta and vendor locations. Develop and maintain quality assurance programs and quality management systems supporting AMI operations. Lead internal audits, external regulatory audits, and compliance program activities. Ensure compliance with Measurement Canada requirements, revenue metering standards, and applicable legislation and regulations. Lead investigations into AMI meter failures and quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans. Monitor vendor contracts, support change management activities, and ensure vendor compliance with contractual requirements. Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and industry organizations to support AMI program priorities and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage budgets, reporting, and process improvement projects that enhance operational effectiveness and program performance. Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Minimum 7 years of related experience. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience. Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably within the utility industry, would be considered an asset. Strong experience analyzing large volumes of data and using insights to support operational and business decisions. Experience in quality assurance, compliance, auditing, logistics, inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations. Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and build effective working relationships. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of AMI systems, revenue metering, quality management systems, Measurement Canada requirements, or ISO standards would be considered an asset. ISO Lead Auditor Certification would be considered an asset. Important: Permanent, full-time role. Monday – Friday schedule. Hybrid role, with opportunity to work 2 days per week from home. Based out of our Acheson office location. Some light travel would be required for the role (~5%).
