Location: Canada Key Accountabilities: Independently investigate and assess a caseload of property and casualty claims from first notice through closure Exercise expanded settlement authority, making confident decisions on challenging files while escalating judiciously Direct and evaluate independent adjusters and coordinate with legal counsel, vendors, and stakeholders with confidence Analyze adjuster reports and supporting documentation to determine coverage, liability, and damages with accuracy Maintain thorough file documentation and carrier reporting using Forward’s claims technology platform Prepare detailed reports and presentations for carriers, senior management, and external stakeholders Forward offers: Smart claims technology that removes the administrative burden and lets your expertise shine Real input on claims strategy, process optimization, and workflow improvements In-person collaboration with a veteran team that challenges and elevates your thinking A transparent path to senior roles with leadership actively invested in your progression Continuous professional development opportunities and support for CIP advancement Champion Forward’s culture, values, and operational standards across all claims activity Qualifications: 3–5 years of insurance claims experience with a proven track record of managing files from intake through resolution CIP designation (or actively working toward completion); post-secondary education is a strong asset Sound understanding of coverage analysis, reserve management, and claims settlement principles Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to turn findings into clear, decisive action Professional-grade communication skills in both written and verbal formats Advanced proficiency with MS Office and claims management systems Salary Range: CAD $70,000-$85,000 *Actual pay may be below or above range based on candidates' knowledge, skills, and level of ability relative to expectations for the role applied to.
