4x a week DOWNTOWN TORONTO ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED Build the future of AI-native products in private equity Our client, a leading Toronto-based private equity firm managing over $20B in assets, is building the next generation of internal platforms that transform how investment professionals interact with data, workflows, and decision-making. This is not a typical frontend role. It’s an opportunity to define AI-native user experiences in a high-performance, high-impact environment — where design, data, and engineering come together to shape how investment decisions are made. What you’ll do • Own the frontend foundation for AI-driven products used across private equity workflows • Build intuitive dashboards and financial interfaces • Work closely with investment teams to deeply understand portfolio monitoring and decision-making needs • Translate complex, multi-layered financial data into clean, performant, and scalable UI • Partner with Product, Design, and Backend teams on architecture, data flows, and product direction • Integrate real-time and AI-powered analytics to support deal sourcing, valuation, and portfolio tracking • Operate in a fast-moving environment, contributing across UI, data visualization, and system design What they’re looking for: • 5+ years building production-grade web applications • Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript • Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.) • Strong data visualization skills (D3, Recharts, Highcharts, etc.) • Experience with modern UI frameworks (Tailwind, Radix, Shadcn, MUI, etc.) • Strong product thinking and ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • A builder mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail Why this role: • Define the UI/UX standard for AI-native investment tools • Work directly with investment professionals and influence real decisions • High ownership in a small, high-caliber team • Exposure to private equity, data, and next-gen AI workflows • Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with real impact

The Senior Frontend Developer will own the frontend foundation for AI-driven products and build intuitive dashboards and financial interfaces. They will work closely with investment teams to understand their needs and translate complex financial data into user-friendly interfaces.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience building production-grade web applications and strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript. They should also possess strong data visualization skills and be comfortable working cross-functionally.
