Seasonal Greenhouse Worker - January 2027

Freeman Herbs is a family-owned greenhouse producing high-quality herbs and vegetable plants. We are hiring full time Seasonal Greenhouse Labourers to support our operation starting in January 2026. Anticipated contract length is 8 months. Job Duties: Assist with planting, potting, tagging, sleeving, and order assembly General plant care; watering, weeding, planting, pruning Harvest plants from greenhouse for shipping Prepare work areas and materials for production Inspect plants and materials for quality issues Apply stickers and UPC labels Work as part of a team to complete orders on time Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all health and safety procedures Perform other general labour duties as needed Coordinate planting and cultivating activities Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in warm greenhouse environments CSA-approved steel toe safety shoes required Reliable transportation required Previous production or agricultural experience is an asset, but not required Why Work With Us: Supportive team environment Active, hands-on seasonal work Free on-site parking Casual dress code (safety requirements apply) No previous greenhouse work experience needed We thank all candidates for their interest however only those candidates chosen for an interview will be contacted.
