Are you an awesome technician looking for an equally awesome team to work with? Perfect, because we happen to think we’re pretty awesome too and it may be time for our awesomeness to combine. In all seriousness, Freeway Tire and Auto is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team in Nisku. We’re a busy, family-owned automotive repair shop with a great crew, a laid-back atmosphere and no shortage of interesting work. We work on everything from everyday vehicles and fleet units to diesel trucks, custom builds and performance vehicles. What You’ll Be Doing Diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles Performing inspections, maintenance and general mechanical repairs Completing suspension, steering, brake, electrical and drivability work Communicating clearly with the service team Producing quality work that you’re proud to put your name on What We’re Looking For Registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or licensed Journeyman Automotive Technician Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities Reliable, hardworking and able to work well with a team with a positive attitude Someone who takes pride in doing the job properly Valid driver’s licence Diesel experience and CVIP certification would be definite assets. Tire experience would make you our official shop unicorn. It isn’t required, but someone who is comfortable helping with tire work when needed would be a huge bonus and may save us from having to find another awesome human.
