Position Details: Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant! Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant Location: Vancouver primary location, must be flexible to travel to Longview, Gresham, Portland or Astoria whenever needed (mileage reimbursement policy available) Typical Schedule: Varied Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm/7am-4pm or Tuesday-Friday 8am-5pm/7am-4pm, will rotate weekly not set. 4 day a week schedule. Wage Range: $22.50 - $28.00 hourly, plus float differential (Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability) General Description of All Benefits: Health Insurance – medical, dental, and vision with HSA, FSA options 401k - employer matching up to 4% Life Insurance – employer paid & voluntary options 8 paid holidays per year Tiered PTO accrual 80 – 200 hours annually Complimentary parking Pet insurance voluntary option Employee Assistance Program provided Qualifications: Must be Certified as a Medical Assistant through the WA State Department of Health HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some MA duties include rooming patients, assisting providers in procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks Our medical assistants must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and very detail oriented.
