Position: Literacy and Numeracy Support Teacher Location: Start Date: As soon as possible FTE: 1.00 FTE Term of Employment: Permanent Application Deadline: Open Until Filled About The Community West Lynn Heights is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school with 235 students located in Lynn Lake, Manitoba, approximately 3½ hours by vehicle northwest of Thompson, Manitoba. What You Bring Bachelor of Education Degree and Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for) Knowledge of structured literacy and numeracy programming and research supported/evidence-based teaching practices Experience following an instructional scope and sequence and systematic teaching Experience providing, creating and implementing individualized programming for At Risk students and students with special needs Knowledge and experience with the Confident Learners Program through The Learning Bar A strong background in formative assessment and data-driven instruction Knowledge and implementation of cooperative learning/small group instruction Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset) Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset) Applicants Are Required To Submit The Following cover letter current resume list of three professional references including contact numbers, all of whom must have knowledge of the applicant's performance in the applicant's current or recent assignment Thank you for your interest; however, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
