To add to this expertise, we are recruiting Steamfitters/Pipefitters for our project in British Columbia, to join our collaborative and team focused organization. We have a lot to offer you – RRSPs, benefits, professional training, just to name a few. As our Steamfitter/Pipefitter, you will provide support to the department and Superintendent. Position Overview Works with the Superintendent to coordinate the day-to-day activities at the construction site. Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports. Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Responsible for safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lifts, and power tools. Qualifications Needed Appropriate level of experience in pipefitting or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required. Must be able to work a 14/14 work rotation with extended time away from home. Own and maintain basic trade tools. Pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing may be required due to client requirements.
