TSSA Pressure Welder

Enns Industrial Refrigeration Ltd. is seeking an experienced Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) Pressure Welder with strong Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) experience on stainless steel and carbon steel piping. We specialize in industrial refrigeration systems across Southern Ontario and are looking for someone who takes pride in clean workmanship, safety, and professionalism. This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will be based out of Toronto and required to work at construction and industrial sites throughout Ontario. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, comfortable leading jobs on site, and committed to strong workmanship, safety, and customer relationships. Responsibilities Perform pressure welding on refrigeration piping systems in accordance with TSSA requirements Perform GTAW and SMAW on stainless steel and carbon steel piping to a high standard of quality and appearance Read and interpret piping drawings and isometric layouts Fabricate, install, and repair refrigeration piping systems Work alongside refrigeration mechanics, project managers, and construction crews Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and site requirements What You’ll Need to Succeed Technical Skills and Qualifications At least 5 years of pressure-welding experience in accordance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) requirements At least 5 years of carbon steel SMAW experience At least 5 years of GTAW, also known as TIG welding, experience on stainless steel piping Experience in industrial refrigeration or process piping is considered an asset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Valid Ontario G driver’s licence with a clean driving record Ability and willingness to work at construction and industrial job sites throughout Ontario Professional Skills Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Ability to manage time and shifting priorities independently Detail-oriented approach and commitment to quality workmanship Leadership mindset with ownership over work and on-site decision-making Team-player attitude and respect for a supportive work environment About Us Enns Industrial Refrigeration Ltd. is a family-owned and long-standing leader in Ontario’s industrial refrigeration sector. Perform high-quality pressure welding on refrigeration piping systems using GTAW and SMAW techniques in accordance with TSSA requirements. Fabricate, install, and repair systems while interpreting piping drawings and collaborating with construction crews.

Requires at least 5 years of experience in pressure welding, specifically with carbon steel SMAW and stainless steel GTAW following ASME standards. A valid Ontario G driver's licence and the ability to travel to industrial sites across Ontario are mandatory.
