IT Infrastructure Lead (Manager) Under the supervision of the IT Director, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of network infrastructures, workstations, software and peripherals used in the company, while also leading and developing the IT infrastructure and support team. Summary of responsibilities Lead the administration of servers, networks, cloud environments and enterprise systems Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT infrastructure Oversee system upgrades, patch management and lifecycle planning Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewall configurations for temporary offices and permanent offices Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues Ensure secure connectivity across offices and remote environments Lead, mentor, and develop a team of system and network administrators Define IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with business objectives Manage vendors, service providers and technology partners Oversee IT budgets related to infrastructure and operations Act as escalation point for critical technical issues Drive automation and process improvements Maintain documentation of systems, procedures and configurations . Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 8–12+ years of experience in systems and network administration 3–5+ years in a leadership or management role Strong experience with Windows Server, Linux environments Networking (Focus on Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba or similar) Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) Relevant certifications (asset): CISSP, CCNP, Azure/AWS certifications Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL and MSSQL) Scripting PowerShell Abilities Good ability to analyze and synthesize processes Ability to work as part of a team in a multicultural environment Concern for customer service and quality of work Thoroughness and attention to detail Autonomy and initiative Organizational skills and adaptability Additional information The position will be based at the G Mining Services office in Brossard, in the Quartier Solar The office is within walking distance of the REM station “Du Quartier” (Dix30) On-site parking is free of charge Possibility of travelling abroad and in Canada depending on the availability of the candidate.
