Résumé du poste

You will create and manage all internal and external communications content, campaigns, and events. Additionally, you will lead employee culture programs and drive guest engagement initiatives.

Détails du poste

300 employees. 18 restaurants. One person to make them all feel like they belong to something. Most people in communications write content. Most event coordinators book venues. Most culture champions send birthday emails. We are not looking for most people. We are one of the fastest-growing Tim Hortons franchise groups in Canada and we are creating a role that does not exist anywhere else in our industry. Part storyteller, part event producer, part community builder, part brand ambassador, part guest engagement specialist. You will be the face of our organization to our team, our guests, and our communities. You will create the moments that make people proud to work here, proud to eat here, and proud to be part of what we are building. If your resume looks like everyone else’s in your field, this is probably not the right role. If you have a portfolio that makes people stop scrolling, keep reading. What You Will Do • Create and manage all internal and external communications content, campaigns, newsletters, social media, event materials, and brand storytelling across all channels • Own the employee culture program: bi-monthly events for 300+ team members across BC, birthday recognition, milestone celebrations, and a formal recognition program • Lead our Smile Cookie, Camp Day, and LTO campaign communications and activations • Build our profile to “wow” our guests and partners • Be our face at restaurant meetings, regional symposiums, partner events, community initiatives, and Tim Hortons corporate visits • Drive guest engagement in our restaurants, app downloads, rewards card scanning, and promotion awareness through direct guest interaction, not just content • Manage and grow our presence with original content: posts, stories, short-form video, and event coverage • Attend and represent our company at partner events including Whitecaps games, local hockey and sports events, golf tournaments, and community fundraisers • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, charity partners, and local businesses • This is not a Monday-to-Friday, 8-to-4 role. Evenings and weekends are part of it. That is a condition of employment, not a footnote. What You Bring • A portfolio that demonstrates real work, we want to see what you have built, written, filmed, and produced, not just a list of job titles • Proficiency in social media content creation and platform management • Experience with content creation tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or equivalent • Proven event planning and execution experience, logistics, vendors, on-site facilitation, and the ability to stay composed when things do not go to plan • Exceptional written communication skills, you write clearly, compellingly, and on brand • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, comfortable in front of a restaurant team of 20 or a boardroom of executives • Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle, travel within the trade area is a regular requirement • Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, PR, or event management is an asset What We Offer • $52,000 – $58,000 commensurate with experience • A genuinely unique role with significant creative latitude and organizational impact • The opportunity to shape the culture and community identity of a 300+ person, 18-restaurant organization • A team that values creativity, takes culture seriously, and celebrates the people who deliver it • Involvement with one of the most iconic QSR brands in Canada
